These lowly copies of their originals sell like hotcakes to people rich or poor. Original compact discs, video CDs are sold at around 495 php per copy. Authentic DVDs sell for about 1,200 php. The pirated ones are priced between 50 and 150, depending on your ability. These discs are mostly sold in bargain areas like greenhills shopping center, goldcrest in glorietta, small malls and, of course, divisoria.

Not everyone in the Philippines knows Cynthia
Alexander. Actually she is one of the more famous
musicians today who has joined the world of Filipino
folk music and world music genre. To add more
information she is the sister of Joey Ayala. Not
wanting to mislead you, this is not really what I want
to point out. During her shows every one in the
audience always wonders where the sound of drums are
coming from or wonder on what the hell is her
percussionist Toni or sometimes Zach of Imago is doing
sitting on and beating a wooden box. Well believe it
or not the drum sounds are coming from that wooden
box.

You’ve heard of the dancing policemen and traffic
enforcers that amuse drivers instead of getting them
upset over traffic, and you’ve heard about all those
other traffic schemes that try to ease out the blocks
on the road that anger motorists. But have you heard
of what’s keeping the people in the south calm? In
B.F. Homes Parañaque there’s something else that
amuses the drivers while they wait for the light to
turn green and the cars to scuttle along.
