Kuwentong Kalye is the final project of Print Production (PRINPRO), a course on print and Web news publishing offered by the Department of Communication, De La Salle University-Philippines.
Students taking PRINPRO are typically on their first year of majoring in the Communication Arts program.
This project is meant to simulate the Web publishing practices of contemporary news organizations. Working in groups over a period of six days, students gather human interest stories from all over Metro Manila and send text and images electronically to the site's Mission Control for editing and uploading.
The site updates are conducted according to a fixed schedule, and the students are graded on the punctuality and accuracy of the updates.
